Thank you for considering Chelan County Volunteer Search and Rescue as part of your event. We value opportunities to connect with our community, share information about our mission, support local organizations, and inspire future volunteers.
To help us coordinate volunteers and plan our community involvement throughout the year, organizations are encouraged to submit event requests by November for consideration in the following calendar year.
Requests submitted after November are still welcome and will be reviewed by the Events Committee. Participation is based on volunteer availability, operational commitments, and how the event supports the organization’s mission, outreach, recruitment, and community engagement goals.
While we are not able to attend every event, we encourage organizations to submit requests regardless of timing. Even if participation is not possible for a particular event or year, the information helps us evaluate future opportunities and may allow us to plan for involvement in subsequent years.
Please note that June through September are typically our busiest operational months. During this period, volunteer availability may be more limited due to increased mission activity, training requirements, and emergency response obligations.
Submission of an event request does not guarantee participation. All requests are reviewed individually and considered based on volunteer availability, community impact, and organizational priorities.
